my foobar2000
今天我再美化了一下foobar, 放出來大家看看:
將這個zip檔內的圖片解壓到”C:\Program Files\foobar2000\images” (或要根據具體情況修改一下), album art 放在歌的資料夾, 叫做cover.jpg, 還有你需要以下的東西:
calibri font from windows vista
foo_uie_trackinfo_mod
foo_uie_single_column_playlist
foo_uie_albumart_msn
you need the above things. also extract the images from the zip file to “C:\Program Files\foobar2000\images”, change it according to your setting. your cover art must be named as cover.jpg in your songs’ directories.

由於目前的foobar沒有skinning的能力 (我相信短時間內也不會有), 所以唯一的方法是依靠windows的visual style來讓它變得好看一些, 我的foobar也是利用vs才會看不到邊界.
所以其實我的foobar按鈕也是有間隔和有邊界的, 只是由於我把foobar的panel顏色vs的調成一樣你才會看不到.
大部分panel的的background是可以自己調色, 但邊界不可以. 所以一定要background和vs的顏色調成一樣才會好看, 不然就會和你現在的一樣.

我自己設定也是用您的按鈕下去可是間隔好大
還有,為什麼我都看不到您各個部份的邊界
我的邊界都好明顯

for your question A and B, the problem is the same, because there’s no proper way for the single column playlist to display the album art, unless in its future release it provides some sort of method to display the album art.
at the moment we can only display portions of the picture based on the track number, if you want to show more portions, you have to change the size of the displayed pic (but I think too small is quite pointless); or you can change the script to make it not to display when total track is not met.
for C, I’m not sure though, I use single user setting, my everything is inside the foobar directory, so if you are not the same as me, probably will have problems, but you can change it according to your own situation anyway. you can check the button image path used in my config, when customising the buttons.
what I think should work is: put all the images as I do, in “C:\Program Files\foobar2000\images”.
yes, I forgot to change the “bar_artist.png” to “bar.png” and the “NoCover2.jpg” to “NoCover.jpg”, but I just fixed it, check the first post.
so there are no files missing.

Hey I’ve been using your format for awhile while adding a few panels to my liking. I got all the components and stuff you said required for using it correctly.
I’ve got a few problems I hope you dont mind answering.

i changed the code in single column playlist in a code that states
…images\bar_artist.png to …images\bar.png since for some odd reason. that bar_artist.png doesnt work even though the image is there.

hm.. firstly, I really don’t understand your first p.p.s.
secondly, I’m quite sure you did make some changes to my config, obviously you are using the multi column playlist instead of the single one (the playlist layout in your pic is what I was using before). the whole layout is changed as I can see. I cannot help if so.
I suggest you download my config again (which I just updated) and extract everything in the zip file to your foobar directory and overwrite existing config. note I’m not using multi user config setting and you better make a backup of your beloved current config if you have any.

Hello,
i’ve tried to apply your config but get very strange inteface even with other colors. Absolutely not like your screenshot.

p.s. I have all required components (and no others) except foo_dsp_src.dll and foo_dsp_srswow.dll (but i think it’s no use for interfase, is it?)
p.p.s. The main features i’d like to see in my foobar is 1. “album divider” like single tab in browser and 2. album picture in list of songs. If you don’t know what the problem it might be with applying the whole config, could you explain (give link) this two moments?

NoCover2.jpg, 可能我忘了改, 你可以自己改一下, 至少你知道這個panel在那裡了.
沒有那個windows messenger你用不了那個轉avatar的功能, 也沒所謂啦, 常常轉有時也很煩.
重疊的問題對我來說不大, 所以我並沒有花過時間去搞. 你也可以把它的字型轉小一點也基本上可以解決 (我認為現在好像有點太大了).
按鈕的問題我建議你先把foobar2000.cfg備份, 然後把foobar2000.cfg從foobar的folder刪掉, run foobar, 它會create一個新的, 你自己再在這個新config裡, 去到preference的columns ui layout裡玩玩 (比如只設定一個button panel), 先對這個layout有個基本認識, 那再用回我這個config會容易很多, 因為很難用文字去表達 (我也不想寫這些教學的東西).
如果你去hydrogenaudio的foobar2000論壇也有相關的資料, 但如果你本身對layout一點認識都沒有的話就好像沒多大意義.

哦，我看到它的config裡無cover的圖指定的是C:\Program Files\foobar2000\images\NoCover2.jpg, 是NOcover2.jpg哦= =
另外，我裝的XP經nlite洗禮時洗去了Windows Messenger@@，也不想裝回，因現在用的是Windows Live Messenger。
另外，在下面的那個顯Album Picture的東西，From %album% 的album name太長時會轉行，和released重疊……也無法看到那個headphone_logo.png
按鈕圖的無法顯示問題還未解決，我可沒碰過我不知道是什麼的東西，而且多次重新覆蓋你的foobar2000.cfg都無法解決。自己設定嘛，我不知道是在哪設定耶@@
以前用foobar2000就只是用來播歌而已，從未放過這麼多component……（簡單來說就是新手）
唉，有沒有什麼教學的東西給我看看＠＠

先到preference->display->columns ui->layout 看一看 (這很重要, 因為外表你看不出有甚麼panels), 查出panels的分佈, 你就會知道albumart_msn的panel在那裡, 然後right click, 就會有它的preference.
resize嘛, 改變foobar的大小, 每個panel的大小嘛, 你要先找到每個panel在foobar畫面的那裡, 你就會找到它的resize的邊囉…
那些按鈕圖在我的foobar2000.cfg裡已經是預設了的, 你現在搞亂了你可能要自己手動再設定, 不要告訴我你不會……..

就算你不是每個album都有cover, 也會display那個no cover的圖.
那些按鈕圖我已包括在那zip裡了, 你可以查看一下”C:\Program Files\foobar2000\images”.
你說的now playing是不是display album art to msn? 如果是的話請確定你沒有把”windows messenger” 刪掉, 是windows messenger, 不是msn messenger, 就是安裝xp就包括了的那個. 你可以下載msn_dp_test.zip, 解壓到C:\test (一定要), 再run一下那個exe, 如果msn沒有轉avatar, 那就是出了問題.
如果它轉了, 那你要在albumart_msn的config入邊把behavior中的”Send album art to MSN Messenger” 選了才可以.

cover不是每個album都有，所以我並不介意。
Calibri font我想問題是出在我沒在套用你的 foobar2000.cfg 前安裝吧，重新套用一次已無問題。
我想問題出於你沒有同時上載那些按鈕圖，所以我才看不到那些似wmp11的按鈕。
另外，何以你的MSN Now Playiny的設定無法使用呢？我看不到WLM的有顯示= =+

呵呵, 是在YORKXIN那個過路人嗎? 有點他鄉遇故知的感覺~:D
首先在你的圖中我可看不出你已裝了calibri font…..看那些數字便知道, 你可以跟我的圖比較一下.
那些zip檔內的圖(不計default extract location), 要放在”C:\Program Files\foobar2000\images”. 即是說如果你解壓時使用extract full path的話你只要extract到”C:\Program Files\foobar2000″ 就可以了.
playlist左邊的album art的file是一定要叫”cover.jpg”, 放在你的歌(那隻album)的folder.
大albumart(foo_uie_albumart_msn), 比較支援多一些filename, 但如果你也叫做”cover.jpg”就一定沒問題, 你可以config一下.
最後就是將foobar (uie panels也是) resize 一下看看能不能出到跟我差不多的顯示了, 我是用 1280×1024 的, 所以你要自己調一下.
你最好先到preference->display->columns ui->layout 看一看用了甚麼panels來才調.

回正題，我想要用你的這個主題，但出現一點問題。
我有把images解壓縮到foobar2K的安裝文件夾，也有把那四個東西：
calibri font( Installed)
foo_uie_trackinfo_mod(in components folder)
foo_uie_single_column_playlist(in components folder)
foo_uie_albumart_msn(in components folder)
也把foobar2000.cfg放到了 %appdata%\foobar2000 ，覆蓋舊有的。
起動Foobar2K後，就看到這樣：

hmm… funny story because in my case enter key works just fine
– despite the ‘del’ one. And I’m wondering why ‘follow cursor’ mode doesn’t work – I’ll try to solve this problem tomorrow and write if I’d succeded.

are u sure? I use the del key on the keyboard to remove playlist items. if it really is the problem, you need to check your keyboard short-cut key mapping (Edit->Selection->Remove).
I just found that with single column playlist, the enter key to play songs doesn’t work anymore.

hm.. if you do have foo_uie_single_column_playlist and foo_uie_albumart_msn already, then most likely is because:
1. you have no playlist, or have no entries in the playlist, you need to add them first so items will be shown on the upper window (playlist switcher is hidden on the upper left side of foobar if you want to see all the playlist available).
2. you have no entires in the playlist or you haven’t change/set the path for the album art in the uie_albumart_msn config.
3. you need to resize the foobar window and the uie panels! (check the column ui layout in the foobar preference to see what panels used)
I think it has nothing to do with dlls, because otherwise you’ll get errors.
btw, main menu is hidden on the most upper part of foobar.
